Introduction
Compass is software that measures performance in skills needed for computer interaction. It includes eight skill tests, covering text entry, pointing device use, and switch use. Each test has many configuration options to customize testing as needed. Compass collects speed and accuracy data during test performance and reports the results.

Compass Usability Results
Prior to release of Compass 1.0, twelve beta testers spent a month putting Compass through its paces. This is the fourth formal usability study we've conducted, and Compass has met usability goals each time. Feedback from the beta testers was strongly positive overall. Testers did suggest a variety of refinements, many of which have been addressed in the software. A summary of the results is available.
