Principal Investigator
Heidi is the team leader for the Compass project, with a particular responsibility for the usability of the software. She is the president of KPR and has worked in assistive technology as a clinician and researcher since 1986.

Researcher
Ed is a Computer Systems Specialist at KPR, designing and developing software for the Compass project. Other interests include collision-avoidance wheelchairs, reminder systems for people with memory impairments, and storytelling.

User Relations
Glen is responsible for gathering user ideas and feedback on the Compass project and ensuring that user input is incorporated into the software. He is a rehabilitation engineer at the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living.

Researcher
Rich is working on the design and development of Compass software. He is an assistant professor in Rehabilitation Science and Technology at the University of Pittsburgh.
